Chili 🌶 Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Hot, Sweet and pure Deliciousness


This sweet potato roast is clearly sweet with a hint heat from the chilies and has a bit of a crunch from the almonds. It’s the best side dish to balance any healthy meal or Sunday feasts.


6 to 8 Baby Sweet Potatoes

1 Small Red Onion, thinly sliced

1 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 1/2 – 2 Tablespoons Honey

2 Tablespoons Almond Flakes

Pinch of Salt

1 Teaspoon Fresh Red Chili, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 200℃
  2. Thoroughly rinse the skin of the sweet potatoes, and cut each into 3 pieces or in biteable pieces.
  3. Place the sweet potatoes in a baking pan, add onion, drizzle with oil and season with salt, toss and make sure all is coated with oil. Roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Take the pan out of the oven, add almonds, chili and drizzle honey, toss and roast for another 20 minutes.
  5. Enjoy! Serves 4 people.
